Painting with Cars

Using toy cars to paint is a lot of fun! You can suggest this project any time you are investigating about transportation.

Tips:
  • Use large paper.
  • Have the children do the work standing. They will be able to maneuver the car better.
  • Place the trays with the paint and car above the paper; it's good for right and left handed students.
  • Do not put too much paint on the tray.
  • Spread the paint on the tray with a brush.

As always I love to observe how each child carry on with the project. Some moved the cars really fast while others moved the cars slowly using one finger.

Some used one color first and then the other color (we decided on two colors only) while others were constantly changing between the colors.

Here are the results.
