For the letter of the week “E” the students painted eggs with watercolor to find the hidden word. They found it more exciting than I had predicted. Then they asked me to paint the other side.
You have to write the word with white crayon making sure you press the crayon hard onto the paper.
I pointed out that we read ‘egg’ however we write e/g/g. They found it very funny and some of them could remember the spelling weeks later.
Like the idea of making the egg shape. How big is it?
ReplyDeleteI traced it on an A3 paper so it is quite big.
